Which of the tools/resources presented in Module 4 will you most likely utilize and in what ways, specifically?
There are so many tools and resources available, as I am new to it all. I really want to focus on just a couple and really master them before I introduce others. The one that sticks out to me to start the school year off with is the Youtube channel. I plan to utilize the youtube channel to upload videos such as tedtalks and use as blog assignments for students. I’ve always wanted to create a blog for students to discuss with others in the class and respond to. I hope creating the channel will allow me to also use it as a wiki. I think it will enhance student learning and engagement as well as check for understanding through their blogs. Another tool I’d like to utilize is screencasting. I think it is a great pedagogical tool for students to comprehend step by step instruction and if necessary students can follow up via email, face to face, through youtube channel with questions. With a screencast, students benefit by viewing at any time and learning at their own pace.
